Brown-Forman Bottling Line Supervisor in Cour-Cheverny, France

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Organize all functions related to the bottling operations from reception of the content from Processing to the shipment of finished goods from the Cour-Cheverny facility.

Job Responsibilities:


Helps the supply chain manager to build the bottling schedule.

Requests (on a weekly basis) the temps according to the bottling lines needs.

Ensures that packaging materials are available on site, and requests deliveries from external warehouse accordingly.

Setup the bottling lines (rinsers, fillers, cappers, labellers, etc...) for the SKUs to be produced.

Responsible for level 1 maintenance on the equipments.

Oversees the bottling line personnel and makes sure the work is done in accordance with safety, quality, and procedures.

Follows the sampling procedures and do the corresponding checks.

Keeps track of output and labour hours (temps) for production and cost tracking purposes.

Manages bottling lines employees (absenteeism, holidays, training, safety instructions).

Provides daily information to supply chain manager, processing department, and shipment department as regards schedule attainment.

Monitor and track downtime hours and bottling KPIs.

Quality, Health, safety, environment:

Champion safety and quality goals and initiatives across the bottling operation.

Promotes continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, productivity, quality, sanitation, and working environment.

Site Maintenance:

Oversees the maintenance of the grounds and buildings of the production site.


Trains the employees of the bottling line.

Trains and mentors the Material Handler to insure coverage in case of absence.

Responsible to manage costs of his area (budgeting and reviewing actuals).

Required Experience & Education:

Education: High School/GED/Secondary School;

Experience: 5+ years experience

Preferred Experience & Education:

Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent);

Experience: 5+ years experience

Job Competencies:

Knowledge of food / beverage bottling activities.

Mechanics / electricity/automation : familiar with automated line.

Team management (interpersonal skills, appraisal, recognition).

Hands-on, efficient.


Able to work with outside suppliers and contractors.

Able to train and mentor others.

Microsoft Excel.
