Meaningful Work from Day One

Directly responsible for the preparation, analysis and projection of the production variances report.

CAPEX monthly reporting and forecast, cost savings project validation.

Preparation and analysis of the annual Budget Casa Herradura expenses wich includes Distillery, Processing, Warehouseing, Bottling/Canning operations. Related Brands include Herradura, El Jimador, Antiguo and Nex Mix.

This role also provides financial analysis and decision support to the Casa operations team, Mexico-based commercial team, and to the Louisville-based corporate finance group.

How You'll Know this Role Is For You

Preparation and analysis for the Production Variance Report, monthly and projections. Capex monthly reporting. Plant expenses analysis in a monthly basis and forecast. Monitor monthly spending in relation to the Budgets and alert operations and management of material variances. Unit Cost variances analysis and presentations. Physical inventories in Plant and Domestic Distribution Centers annual participation. KPIs consolidation report. Works collaboratively with the Brown-Forman Tequila Mexico commercial controlling area to ensure the accuracy and completeness of Mexico tax and statutory reporting.

This includes compliance with external audits, providing analysis of cost variances, ensuring compliance with Payroll and Accounts Payable policies, and maintaining effective communication between the two controlling areas.

Support the work of the Continuous Improvement teams. This includes analyzing. ost savings opportunities and validating cost savings justification.

Preparing financial modelling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact on the organization.

Demonstrated proficiency in applying US GAAP principles.

Budgeting & Planning, General Accounting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Ability to build productive relationships and partnerships and influence others. Excellent business planning and analytical skills.

Microsoft office (advanced excel, Google software, Comfortable with complex data sources and the understands the importance of data integrity.

Demonstrated proficiency with SAP-ERP software (or a similar ERP system).

5 years accounting experience in a manufacturing/production environment including accounting management experience or 2 years in the spirit industry.

Strong analytical and numerical ability.

What Exactly Are We Looking For?

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related

English - advanced
