Meaningful Work From Day One:

As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing the trade marketing plan in line with portfolio priorities, brand guidelines and channel priorities with a comprehensive understanding of off-trade and on-trade shopper marketing.

This is a full-time, diverse role, providing plenty of opportunity to add value by:

  • Being the "transmission belt" of marketing with the commercial team in order to connect brand proposals in customer’s environment and be able to translate it into a “customer stories”.

  • Actively participate in the Commercial & Marketing agenda

  • Leading and developing the Junior Trade Marketing Manager in a collaborative working environment.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Define the annual trading plan on a strategic and tactical level, setting KPIs and planning in close collaboration with the marketing and sales team

  • Be the voice of the physical omnichannel brand presence: off, on, eCo ecosystem

  • Define, deploy and execute the POS/gift plan (on and off-trade) for each brand in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Buying and French Trade Marketing departments and leading external agencies

  • Lead Advocacy as a strategic tool to educate, inspire & engage our communities.

  • Establish a clear channel prioritization to allocate animations quotas, promotions and portfolio management.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and field sales team for a flawless execution of the plan

  • Continuous evaluation & improvement plan in place, documented and shared with relevant partners

  • Responsible for budget, budget allocation & tracking

  • Collect & share competitor’s activations and best practices

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or another related field

  • Several years of work experience in the field of marketing, sales, trade marketing

  • Fluent in French, Flemish and English both speaking and writing

  • FMCG experience (Experience in the Spirits/Beverage industry is a plus)

  • Knowledge of the On-/Off-Trade channel & customers

  • Good knowledge in MS Office / ERP System

  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership to effectively drive budget allocations against business needs and able to influence others

  • Good knowledge level of marketing disciplines: Market analysis, strategy development, consumer/ shopper insights, creative development, strong project management capabilities
