Brown-Forman Revenue Growth Management Manager in Guadalajara, Mexico
What You Will Do in This Role
The RGM Manager is responsible for supporting Brown-Forman’s revenue growth management efforts across each of our RGM pillars; (1) price positioning, (2) channel pack price architecture, (3) promotional strategy and efficiency, (4) customer mix management and (5) trade terms and distributor margins. High impact communication and persuasion are required with the ability to influence Top Management and coach the Commercial Finance Team
What It’s Like to Work Here
Power user / subject matter expert for existing revenue growth management tools and methodologies (i.e., interpret elasticity modeling output, provide local market expertise to corporate Advanced Analytics team during development of new analytical tools, etc.)
Ability to train and lead Commercial Finance Analysts on RGM understanding and deployment within the organization
Highly experienced in Storytelling and influencing Top Leadership Team, such as General Management, Directors and Senior Managers
The selection of the right brands, products & packs for each channel, and the development of the appropriate pricing architecture that will meet the shopper needs and deliver the channel vision & strategy
Determine the most effective customer & ‘customer product’ mix that will maximize sales and margin delivery whilst reflecting the channel prioritization and achieving the channel vision & strategy. Includes pro-active management, tracking and corrective action
Develop and implement pricing and elasticity models by channel, to identify business and industry gaps and opportunities
Develop customer pricing strategy at a net-net price level, based on the consumer pricing strategy and the channel pricing pack architecture
The development of the most effective and efficient promotional strategies & plans to achieve the channel & customer goals. Setting ROI targets, establishing clear protocols for pre & post evaluation of promotional activity and using a continuous improvement approach to strategy and plan refinement, as well as a detailed understanding of implications of repeating vs. alternatives
Develop trade terms, using a pay for performance approach, which are deployed effectively through the setting of B-F’s trade terms & conditions and investment policies and reflect channel, sub-channel & key customer priorities, whilst effectively managing risks & opportunities and delivering the business goals
Develop Industry revenue pools to identify value capture opportunities
Continuously improve analytical methodologies, insights, and tools to advance our RGM capabilities
We Are Looking For People Who
Degree in Economics, Finance, Math or similar field of study
At least 2 years of experience in Revenue Growth Management
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
Familiarity with advanced analytical tools (such as R)
Thorough understanding of statistics
Financial modeling experience
Strong interpersonal skills / team player
Experienced and influential coach that expands RGM knowledge within the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into impactful presentations appropriate for various functions and various levels of the organization
Fast-moving Consumer Goods industry experience.
Previous experience working with consumer takeaway (Nielsen, IRI, etc.) data.
