What You Will Do in This Role:
The Revenue Growth Management Manager is responsible for supporting Brown-Forman’s revenue growth management efforts across each of our RGM pillars; (1) price positioning, (2) channel pack price architecture, (3) promotional strategy and efficiency, (4) customer mix management and (5) trade terms and distributor margins. High impact communication and persuasion are required with the ability to influence Top Management and coach the Commercial Finance Team. This position collaborates with the Advanced Analytics Group as a Spoke member.
What You Can Expect:
Power-user / subject matter expert for existing revenue growth management tools and methodologies (i.e., interpret elasticity modeling output, advise on the development of new analytical tools, etc.)
Ability to train and lead RGM understanding and deployment within the organization.
Highly experienced in Storytelling and influencing Top Leadership Teams.
Design and build publication-ready data visualizations using diverse sets of structured and unstructured data while working with the Advanced Analytics team applying visualization best practices.
The selection of the right brands, products & packs for each channel, and the development of the appropriate pricing strategy.
Determine the most effective customer & ‘customer product’ mix that will maximize sales and margin including proactive management, tracking, and corrective action.
Collaborate with the various analytical teams within the organization to discover new and creative data usage and delivery.
Build causal and predictive pricing models utilizing statistical programming languages such as R based on integrated data of various structures from numerous sources stored in Brown-Forman’s data lake environment.
Develop customer pricing strategy at a net-net price level, based on the consumer pricing strategy and the channel pricing pack architecture.
The development of the most effective and efficient promotional strategies and plans. Setting ROI targets, and establishing clear protocols for pre & post-evaluation of promotional activity.
Develop trade terms, using a pay for performance approach effectively, management of risks and opportunities to deliver the business goals.
Work in tandem with the Advanced Analytics team to develop distributed computing capabilities to handle large-scale data storage and computation for analytical purposes.
Continuously improve analytical methodologies, insights, and tools to advance our RGM capabilities.
Bachelor ́s Degree in economics, finance, math, or similar field of study.
At least 2 years of experience in Revenue Growth Management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into impactful presentations appropriate for various functions and various levels of the organization.
Experience working with consumer takeaway data such as Nielsen, IRI, etc.
Fast-moving Consumer Goods industry experience.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, and Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
Desirable experience with advanced analytical tools (such as R).
Experience applying statistical concepts and knowledge to real-world applications.
Financial modeling experience.
Influential communication and coaching that expands Revenue Growth Management knowledge within the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills/team player.
