Wh at You Will Do in This Role :
Distributor Management
75% of time focused on Off-Premise Retail & 25% On-Premise National Accounts
Drives the execution of national and regional account programs for Retail/ONP channels within BF and Distributor National & Regional subchannels
Monitors and measures account level performance for key national and regional customers within assigned geography. Works with NAMs/CAMs to identify opportunities, develop negative gap action plans to rectify
Collaborates with General Managers (GM) and State Managers to ensure the plans and tools are in place to deliver category and brand growth above respective TDS
Partners with the 8 Distributor chain teams to ensure the plans and tools are in place to deliver category and brand growth above respective TDS; 49 distributor connection points.
Coordinates and plans ongoing distributor performance reviews with Retail & On-Premise leadership in the distributor; Tertile as a formal review
What You Will Experience :
Customer Management
Leads a team of 4 NAM/CAMs responsible for all On-Premise and Off-Premise chain business in the East Region
Must exhibit excellent ability to build strategic relationships with external chain buyers and be able to influence programming through fact-based storytelling
Leads a team that is responsible for 65 customer call points across Off-Premise & On-Premise
Planning, Organizing, Directing, Controlling
Coordinates, collaborates, communicates adjustments to plan: correct negative performance, target brand opportunities/customer opportunities
Manages the implementation and execution of B-F national account business plan within Distributor National & Regional Account team; ASMART development
Manages the resource allocation/budget process; 3rd Party Agencies, e.g. Patrick Henry, iMi, MarketTeam
Leads Tertile channel and customer business reviews with East Region National Accounts/other stakeholders, e.g. GM Divisions, Distributor National Accounts Teams
Conducts brand and channel gap review and communicates recommendations to the Field Execution Director and Division teams.
People & Team Leadership
Manages the NAM/CAM in a way that impacts positive brand and category growth
Develops ASMART goals that holds each team member accountable for their respective business
Identifies market execution opportunities and communicates performance against objectives
Guides & directs BF state teams to drive synergies in Off Premise channel
Region expert for National Accounts
Diversity & Inclusion: mentor and provide leadership/opportunities for identified high performers
High Impact Communication
Leads the East Region communication and execution of strategies for National & Regional Accounts
Connects with appropriate NAM/CAM to drive execution of national programs within their assigned geography/customer
Provides solution/growth-based recommendations for channel gaps
Establishes, leads ‘check in’ events with East Region & National Accounts Teams to drive alignment on goals and results
Formal update meetings with the East Region, National Accounts, Leadership
What Exactly Are We Looking For ?
Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of sales experience (chain channel) in a consumer goods environment, or 13+ years of relevant experience
Complete understanding of BF organization and its connection points
Ability to Communicate, collaborate among disparate, geographically extended, multi-level groups
Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude with business growth mindset
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate effectively within a collaborative construct
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative strategies that increase market share
Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time, including weekends for customer events
Valid driver’s license
