Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) role is responsible for supporting the SBM in his/her delivery of profitable growth for the Jack Daniel’s flavors portfolio in the UK, which includes Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple.
The Assistant BM will actively support the Senior Brand Manager in the development of marketing, advertising and promotional programmes and will have full ownership of their implementation, while owning selected projects from start to finish.
This position requires approximately 5-10% of time travelling.
You will be expected to exhibit the following capabilities:
Ownership of key projects and marketing activities across portfolio:
Packaging: Manage and deliver all relevant brands’ packaging changes, liaising with Global team, Supply Chain, Customer Marketing and Sales teams to ensure flawless execution and transition in market.
Gifting: Manage the delivery to markert of the brands’ gifting pipeline, in collaboration with account managers, customer marketing, supply chain and finance team.
Digital Communication & Shelf : Responsible for the planning and execution of all Jack Daniel’s Flavors CRM, Social and PR activities, ensuring compliance and alignment with the Global team. Responsible for delivering the latest, most relevant and engaging information & brand images to the E-com Customer Marketing Team. Perform regular online reviews & work with the E-com Customer Marketing Team to improve.
Events & Sponsorships: In charge of the implementation of all sponsoring, events and partnerships programmes any associated amplification plans. In charge of the execution of all Jack Daniel’s Flavors internal branded events and comms for the brand incl. brand inductions.
Brand guardian: Be a brand guardian in ensuring JDTH, JDTA & JDTF are creatively expressed in a premium and consistent ‘on-brand’ way, ensuring all approvals are obtained ahead of the live date. Initiate and maintain close, consistent communication with internal and external agencies. Be a key point of contact for On-Trade sales teams, and the Customer Marketing teams.
Brand ownership of JDTF : Lead for all of Jack Daniel’s Fire brand activities. Manage key brand related projects to ensure timely delivery to market within budget.
Support the Senior Brand Manager
Business performance & management:
Prepare monthly brand performance review including competitive set, sales data.
A&P management across 3 brands: raising POs, appropriately recording spends and maintaining an A&P budget at all times updated, reflecting the latest status.
Own the on-going post evaluations of brand activities, so learnings can be integrated into the planning cycle and help deliver a continuous improvement on marketing spend efficiency.
Work closely with Global and Regional teams to learn from other markets successes.
Keep monitoring competitors’ activities and seek inspirations beyond spirits categories, demonstrating curiosity to feed the planning cycle.
Support SBM in the delivery of the Strategy & Insights process and its outcomes: the development of innovative and exciting brand activations which deliver against strategic imperatives.
Support preparation of annual brand business plan presentations.
Support or lead the delivery of media & creative, packaging and event collaterals in collaboration with partner agencies. ·
What You Bring to the Table:
Min. 2 years in brand marketing experience either in house or at agency side
Understanding of sales and operations
Excellent relationship building skills
Excellent analytical skills
Passion and love for consumer brand marketing
Strong office software knowledge
Prior Experience in wine and spirits or luxury FMCG industries
Experience in digital and or social media management or creative agency background preferred but not essential
Experience with analysing data from a number of sources (Nielsen, Kantar, ISWR)
Fluent English, both spoken and written
Great analytical skills
Great communication skills ( listening, presentations, written)
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels

IT literate - MS Office applications & Google applications
