Brown-Forman Temporary B-F Brand and Corporate Communications Visual Asset Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky
Brown-Forman seeks part-time support for Corporate Communications for up to 20 hours per week. This is a temporary position and could last up to one year.
Position Summary: This role will work alongside the Presentation Development Lead (PDL) on the B-F Brand and Communications team, assisting in a variety of activities related to development and production of external and internal presentations for the Executive Leadership Team. Additionally, this candidate will support the PDL in supporting the broader B-F Brand and Communications team and its client communications partners, as required, on projects requiring digital asset or basic design capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Presentation design support (co-ideation and execution)
Development of parts (or all) of presentation content, with guidance from PDL, in PowerPoint or Google Slides software
Creation of visual assets to support presentation design execution; this will require fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Assist in the development of alternative solutions to communication needs for the broader department (infographics, digital newsletters, more complex presentation options, basic design requirements for print, email or other published materials)
Becoming familiar with, and exploring use of, Infogram tool for non-presentation projects
Experience, training or education in graphic design and principles
Fluent and functional in Adobe CC Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshopo(Adobe Illustrator has the greatest weight, Photoshop 2nd, InDesign 3rd)
Fluent and functional in PowerPoint and Google Slides platforms (must know PowerPoint!)
Experience, or confidence learning, a variety of digital asset toolkits (Ex: Infogram, Canva, Iconfinder, etc.)
Ability to partner on creative ideation
1-year minimum experience in a production designer position
Portfolio with examples of above
Ability to shift quickly between projects, tools, clients
Swift/efficient, yet accurate/quality-oriented work output
