Brown-Forman On Premise Regional Senior Manager in Mexico City, Mexico

What You Will Do in This Role

The On-Premise Regional Manager is responsible for leading, guiding and inspiring the team of executives in their area to ensure that the key B-F brands are on the right accounts and with the right supports/stimuli ensuring a dominant position within the channel.

Through the development and execution of the channel strategy, it should improve the visibility as well as the testing and repurchasing of our brand focus, implementing experiences and brand initiatives relevant to our customers and consumers.

The On-Premise Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring impeccable execution of brand and channel strategy and guidelines in their region.

What You Will Experience

  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the channel strategy.

  • Ensure the correct implementation of strategies and guidelines of the brands in the channel.

  • Management of P&L and ROI on projects (to ensure the issue of investments in the channel)

  • Negotiation experience and persuasive sales structure

  • Periodically quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the initiatives/activities implemented in their area (Development>Implementation>Evaluation>Feedback).

  • Analyze the total market and channel in their respective region to understand industry dynamics, competition and regulatory issues that help detect areas of opportunity and growth for B-F.

  • Analyze the target consumer, its main drivers of consumption and preferences of type of establishments.

  • Guarantee that B-F has a dominant position in the most important/relevant accounts according to the channel segmentation strategy.

  • Ensure that all their executives are expert ambassadors for our brands.

  • Train and train continuously (internally and externally) in the Brown-Forman culture, our brands and our values.

  • Ensure that all executives follow and implement in detail the steps of the visit, use the principles of effective negotiations and make use of salesforce as a working tool.

  • Always encourage responsible consumption and promote it by example.

  • Recruit, retain and develop the best talent for B-F.

  • Responsible for the development of career plans of their team (functional and leadership skills).

  • To guarantee the correct planning and execution of the strategy, initiatives and activities of the brands and channel that assure us to have in the most important accounts: distribution and price, visibility, training and motivation, mixology and brand experiences.

  • Impeccable management and control of the operating budget and travel in their area.

  • Impeccable administration and control of their client's databases (salesforce, Siscocc) guaranteeing always to have up-to-date and quality information.

  • Maintain a healthy relationship with the owners and staff of the accounts and with the main wholesalers.

  • Ensure that our accounts identify B-F as a business partner rather than a supplier.

  • Maintain active communication with the Wholesale team in your area to ensure a proper business process.

  • Impeccable budget control and bonus process (check)

What You Bring to the Table

  • Preferred bachelor's degree with a postgraduate degree in the following fields: Marketing, Business Administration, Business or related.

  • +4 years leading On-Premise and/or sales teams for global consumer product brands with experience in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships and strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Software or special programs: Office package (Excel, Word, PPT) high level, web platforms, etc.

  • Knowledge of market analysis platforms. Nielsen, ISCAM, etc.

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize.

  • Knowledge in finance, marketing, effective negotiations, coaching and leadership.

  • Intermediate English.

  • Constantly analyzes and understands business results to broaden their knowledge.

  • Make recommendations and/or make decisions based on hard business data.

  • Actively evaluates and learns from the results obtained in the activities he/she implements.

  • Understands and analyzes the dynamics of the channel, consumer behavior and is able to detect "insights" and turn them into actionable initiatives.

  • Proactive, self-motivated and with high initiative.

  • Organized, capacity for planning and effective management of time and resources.

  • Challenges the status quo and takes initiative in the face of ambiguity.

  • Maintains strict control over the use of tools and monitoring of channel processes as well as compliance with internal policies.
