Brown-Forman Trade Marketing Analyst - PUB in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Job Description:

Main activities / responsibilities:

  • Give support to the PBB/GTR Commercial Manager conducting the area businesses in the following countries: PUB – Paraguay, Uruguay, French Guiana and Suriname / GTR – South America, including but not restricted to Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Ecuador.

  • Collaborate with Commercial Manager to give support with all processes of budget control in local and global marketing, including A&P invoice payments, T &E expenditures.

  • Give support to the Commercial Manager in the follow-up and analysis of P&L in the area.

PUB

  • Participate in the development of brand plans for each market, give support in the execution along with distributors and follow-up of the execution and measurement of results.

  • Be the contact at B-F to provide all the brand guidelines from B-F to distributors.

  • Be the contact at B-F to provide all the guidelines on digital platforms and follow up the implementation of actions on these platforms.

  • Actively participate in the follow-up process of monthly KPIs along with distributors;

  • Monitor the competitors’ activities and develop action plans to defend or protect our brands, avoiding impact on sales or trying to maximize results;

  • Conduct trainings with sales teams, distributors, brand ambassadors and final consumers;

  • In direct clients (London Supply), participate in the development, implementation and measurement of activities of clients’ brand plans;

  • Constant analysis of KPIs agreed with distributors identifying threats and opportunities for B-F brands;

  • Develop promotional materials to support the distributors’ sales teams;

  • Be the link/connection between the marketing team for the PUB region and the clients in the Region in order to guarantee that the actions are aligned with actions in the region.

GTR

  • Responsible for management of brand ambassadors, through regular calls and monthly reports with pricing audits, competitor intelligence, consumer insights and stock alerts; visit Dufry stores in Brazil regularly, and other locations as needed.

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of trainings for Dufry teams in the south region of Latin America;

  • Responsible for proposing, implementing and managing incentive campaigns for Dufry’s sales team;

  • Responsible for implementing and managing HPP activities agreed with Dufry for the south region of Latin America;

  • Collaborate with the marketing team for the PUB region, GTR Trade Marketing, and Dufry in order to guarantee that the actions implemented are aligned with actions in the region;

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of promotional and support materials for Dufry’s sales team;

  • Responsible for the maintenance and constant improvement of all back walls, displays and spaces that B-F rents at Dufry; collaborate with GTR Trade Marketing to manage process for production of new units.

  • Identify opportunities for the introduction of new products that are ideal for the region and the market; collaborate with Commercial Manager to submit in the BEC process.

  • Develop strategic partnerships (advertising agencies, developers of displays/wall units) in order to produce materials with the necessary quality for our brands;

  • Develop relationships with store personnel (store managers, sales associates, etc.); leverage those relationships to identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow B-F business.

REQUISITES:

Graduation:

  • Graduated in Administration, Marketing or Communication.

Previous experience:

  • Minimum 2-year experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing.

Knowledge:

  • Experience in negotiation and customer assistance;

  • Fluent English and intermediate Spanish;

  • Intermediate Excel and intermediate Power Point;

  • Analytical capacity and P&L reading, as well as knowledge in understanding price structures;

  • Development of marketing plans;

  • Basic knowledge in market research;

  • Experience in relationship and management with agencies.
