Brown-Forman Business Development Executive - Premium Spirits in Sydney, Australia

Meaningful work from Day One

This person acts as a brand and commercial ambassador for the BF premium brands and is responsible for managing large premium and ultra premium customers.

What you will experience

Commercial Capability

  • Using existing product knowledge, develop new initiatives and support National Business Managers to develop initiatives for super premium and luxury products which aim to maximise profit

  • Seek out and develop new commercial opportunities and partnerships

  • Working internally with the BF insights team and externally with existing customers, identify themes and trends to uncover opportunities

  • Writing customer performance reviews and provide recommendations to the commercial team on areas for development to maximise profit

  • Driving innovation to devise new initiatives and strategies to be the best in the industry

  • Work with BF global functions to deliver NPD

Relationship Development

  • Spend time with customers to understand their consumers, what is currently working in their business model, their challenges and how BF can add support and value to assist in meeting their needs

  • Leverages performance history, competitor analysis, insights to assist customer decision making and develop longer term account plans to sell more barrels

  • Builds compelling business proposals that addresses the customer’s needs

  • Develops an internal stakeholder collaboration to assist and guide with the use of the B2B platform

  • Manage and maintain the B2B e-commerce site

Your profile

  • Experience within the premium, super premium and luxury sales channels

  • Good understanding of the single malt whiskey

  • Ability to present to large groups and super premium customers

  • Understand and recommends new casks and barrels to customers

  • Possesses top level industry and category knowledge
