Meaningful Work from Day One
This position is responsible for being the voice of consumers and guiding brand & business decisions backed by consumer, shopper and category data.
Working closely with sales and marketing teams, you will transform data from multiple sources into insights and recommendations to inspire others on what matters to our brands.
What you will experience
Manage consumer & shopper research continuous tracking projects, including, issue identification, briefing the agency, results, results facilitation and embedding insights into strategy.
Competitor activity tracking
Transform data and information into insights and stories that help guide business decision making.
Developing market and brand insights for internal reviews, category reviews and global visitors
Work with global and regional insights teams to ensure alignment and leverage global research, systems and processes where appropriate
Educate brand and sales teams on leveraging the use of insights with their key stakeholders
Inspire Marketing and Sales teams through bringing consumers and shoppers to life, detailing key market trends and environmental factors that may impact channel and marketing plans.
Provide relevant inputs into the brand planning process, contributing to the implementation of the Brand Growth Framework and building capabilities across the business
Provide support to the Insights Portfolio & Planning team, managing budgets and assisting in management of planning process
Be proactive in professional development - Keep up to date with relevant industry and market trends, share best practice and key learnings
Develop robust relationships, internally and externally
Minimum 4+ Years experience with Consumer & Shopper Research
Experience across FMCG industry (liquor industry experience is advantageous)
Demonstrated success in applying data insights to business needs, and “telling a story”
Strong problem solving skills
Confident presentation skills and ability to influence
Strong ability in developing robust collaborative relationships across matrix organisations
Advanced Knowledge of Consumer Research Protocols
Knowledge of Statistical Software used for analyzing consumer data
Experience using Category data / Scan Retail data is highly regarded
Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline
