Brown-Forman Area Sales Manager - Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan
The role is responsible for delivering and executing personal objectives which supports team objectives. You will increase brand awareness among customers as well as strives for ensuring the best possible market position for Brown-Forman brands On and Off Trade Channels in the assigned area. In this position a person closely works with our distributor in order to achieve set targets.
Execution of overall sales strategy in On and Off Trade Channels
Making sales visits according to routes agreed and approved by Sales Manager and Asahi
Making commercial visits in outlets of various market formats
Building business partnerships with visited outlets
Initiating orders and supervising realisation thereof. Introducing new products and in-outs for sale with customers at all assigned market formats.
Performing tasks regarding sales, distribution and visibility of BF products
Ensuring the optimum stock level at outlets and ensuring products' exposition according to BF standards as well as legal recommendations and internal regulations
Timely implementation according to brand platforms planogram, ensuring the best possible location and positioning of POSM materials.
Reporting via internal systems: collecting data on BF products, market data, information regarding customers serviced and competitors' activity on the market.
Identifying potential new (volume) customers operating in the assigned region and recommending them to distributor and Sales Manager. Presenting recommended sales activities in order to expand cooperation and execution of the arrangements at the customer's outlets. Searching for ways to increase sales of BF brands, generating own initiatives supporting the realisation of company goals
Current administrative tasks; preparing and delivering on time the expected data, reports, performing activity evaluation according to standards and procedures applicable in the company. Reading corporate e-mails regularly.
Ensure proper implementation of sales campaigns/promotional activities
Appropriate utilisation of assigned budgets for additional activities according to the mechanics and deadlines of their settlements, in accordance with standards applicable in the company. Ensuring the maximum effectiveness of budget utilisation. -Ensuring compliance of actions with legal guidelines and internal procedures
Supervising the work of external BF partners performing merchandising services in field.
Conduct regular meetings with the distributor sales for feedback on status business
Establish and maintain good contact with all customers and maintain updated Customer details of the assigned area.
Relationship building with business partners in Off and On Trade channel
Act s Brand Ambassador of BF Portfolio. Preparing and conducting product trainings dedicated for sales personnel of BF business partners
Required Experience & Education
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent);
Experience: At least 2-3 years’ experience in FMCG, preferable experience in both on and off trade channels
