Please note, this is a temporary role for 12 weeks. The schedule is Monday-Friday based in our Louisville, KY offices.

Meaningful Work From Day One:

Supports the immediate R&D team by performing testing/experimentation/product development or

process research work assignments. Performs work assignments following existing protocols and standard

operating procedures. Interprets data following guidelines. Reports results / recommendations to the

immediate R&D team. Solves routine and standard problems. Implements testing, and analyzes and

interprets data with supervision. Applies broad knowledge of theory and principles with professional

discipline.

What You Can Expect:

The primary responsibility of the Associate Chemist is to support B-F R&D projects by performing routine

laboratory testing using a range of software, techniques and equipment to include handling of pressurized

chemicals. The individual will take requests from customers, analyze results using standard procedures and

communicate results. Data management responsibilities include accurate recording of test results, data

interpretation, reporting and presentation of results. The associate chemist will acquire technical

knowledge of the instrumentation used on a daily basis and maintain and troubleshoot the instruments, as

needed, making recommendations to their supervisor. The individual will provide analytical support to

R&D, plants and production areas.
