Meaningful Work From Day One

The HR Specialist is working directly with the Senior HR Manager in the area/cluster to support them in identifying the current and future needs of the business within the complex and diverse client group. You will play a vital role in the delivery and execution of HR operations and acts as a single point of contact for all employees and line managers. You will be responsible for managing, guiding, driving, and delivering HR administration & Payroll, including rewards & benefits advisory and projects leading to ensure the effective execution of the People strategy in collaboration with the HR Manager.

The position focuses on Czechia & Slovakia.

HR Generalist duties (40%)

  • Develops and maintains close working relations with a broad scope of employees across Brown-Forman to ensure timely coordination and accomplishment of assigned responsibilities.

  • Advises and directly supports for HR Managers & managers in the area of all HR topics specifically related to HR administration, processes, systems, Total Rewards, employee obligations related to all sorts of leaves recognised by Czech & Slovak labour law.

  • Coordinates and administers all data in Workday.

  • Responsible for managing employee data relating to open positions, employment offers & contracts, compensation/job evaluation, benefit related communication, performance management process, new hire communication, orientation and onboarding, termination process.

  • Coordinates onboarding and induction including collecting all obligatory documentation, contracts, payroll, introduction to company history & values; partners with HRMs and managers to guide on onboarding and inductions plans for new hires or EEs changing roles.

  • Coordination & administration of recruitment & hiring processes.

  • Registration personal information for the Employees’ hiring in the tracking file for the Master Data Management team.

  • Coordination of IT tools/office work space.

  • Coordination of onboarding of new hires: Organize Onboarding for new joiners with the managers, HRD and train new joiners with HRIS systems (WD, LMS) and processes.

  • Assist with employee questions regarding policies interpretation, helping employees and or management of policy issues.

  • Preparing plans for future talent needs, execute the strategy in collaboration with the HR Manager.

  • Helps to organize the training.

  • Assisting the HR Manager in disciplinary or grievance cases, as well as assisting in supporting any organizational change.

  • PGP Process – work closely with line managers and employees to embed the Performance and Growth Planning process, ensuring and assisting in communications to ensure all employees receive quality annual and mid-year reviews and that all deadlines are met.

  • Support initiatives and supports organization of initiatives as D&I and HR Communications.

Payroll & Benefits (30%)

  • Coordinates payroll preparation and execution in collaboration with Accounting, Sales (Sales bonus Scheme), TR team (Merit process, annual bonuses) and external payroll services provider that includes preparation, validation and delivery of all necessary, up to date employees lists, data and documentation on monthly basis.

  • Works with payroll providers for Czechia & Slovakia for payroll review, updates & excellent preparation and pay on time accurately.

  • Supports HR Manager and Finance Manager in projecting compensations/Total rewards based on actual data for new fiscal years, merit/STI revisions, and business reviews in collaboration with HR Managers, Accounting & Finance teams in partnership with TR coordinates annual/b-annual revision of local TR competitiveness (pay and benefits).

  • Supervise benefits services execution & administration, including daily cooperation, invoice processing and negotiations with local benefits providers.

  • In collaboration with the HR Manager and Total Rewards Team, executes internal remuneration changes (including job evaluations, promotions, lateral moves, international moves), tracks revision and approval process based on confirmed employment conditions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and documentation archiving.

  • Services employee rewards programs.

  • Ensure B-F, TR and legal compliance.

Personnel data Administration & Workday/ HRM System Supervision & Service (30%)

  • Responsible for Workday supervision, service and data accuracy.

  • Ensures compliance with B-F Company and local legal requirements in obligatory HR documentation handling and archiving, ensuring data confidentiality and protection.

  • Ensures effective HR administration and provides ongoing administrative service.

  • Responsible for implementation and updating of the HR systems & technical support.

  • Leads WD upskilling training for employees.

  • As a member of international consultation teams, take part in global projects and testing with the HRIT team in evolving the system, making changes and improvements.

  • Lead local HR analytics & reporting regarding key HR KPIs and people processes.

  • (PGP, Talent Management & Development, D&I, TR) to enable the best decision-making related to people, culture and organization.

  • Leaver process – manage the process for exiting employees, including collecting obligatory documentation.

  • Responsible for preparing of obligatory employee documentation, including consultants, 3rd party outsourcing contracts & brand advocacy contracts.

  • Responsible for supervising the collection & maintenance, and archiving of all obligatory employee documentation necessary for employment, local labour law and payroll processes.

  • Manage employee’s files & archives in compliance with the legal requirements and company policies.

  • Ensures that all required documents are up to date & comply with B-F and local legal requirements.

  • Supervises the performance of payroll and personnel administration provider & ensures continuous improvement of the service and EEs experience.

  • Ensure periodic, obligatory safety training for EEs.

  • Ensure data accuracy & reporting.
